Get Your Degree For Free exists to spread awareness to families that scholarships and grants are available to all types of students. We encourage all students to seek scholarship and grant opportunities to minimize the amount of debt they incur while pursuing higher education.

We will evaluate your student and after doing so, provide the best recommendations we have from our wide range of knowledge in the field of funding acquisition primarily for college. Our target audience is the parents of high school students in grades 10 through 12. We aim to show you how your student can secure well over the cost of their tuition to go to college even if they aren’t the top student in their class or a top athlete. Hundreds of students miss out on availing themselves of thousands of dollars in funding every day. We want to provide our services to you so your family won’t be saddled in debt.

Having earned several years of valuable experience in searching for, applying to, and scoring hundreds of thousands of dollars in educational aid, I can now teach others what I learned.

I started out of necessity, having to meet more than $49,000 in tuition, room, board and incidentals each year to attend Howard University. I turned the scholarship process into a labor of love. In order to be successful in my efforts, I had to be overwhelmingly organized and relentless. Remember, I was a student with grades to maintain, and scholarship board members don’t make allowances for excuses.
Over time I learned tricks and tips along the way that helped get my applications to stand out and get noticed. Having applied to hundreds of scholarships, I figured out how to improve as an applicant over the years. I learned exactly what scholarship committee members looked for in essays, what key points to hit in interviews, and I basically mastered how to snag these funds above the rest of the talent pool competing. In the end, I was awarded several small individual scholarships that amounted to significantly more than the cost of my education.
